Nvidia SLI VIDEO CARD QUESTION?
I am building a system. Here are the specs so far.

My question. Would it be wiser to sell my 8800gs card and save up for a 9800 or 9600, or shouldI just buy 1 or 2 more 8800gs cards and sync them? The sales clerk at fry’s says that he has 3 9800 cards sync on his system. I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to just do that with the card type I have already. What are the pros and cons of doing this?
You can’t run three 8800GS cards in 3-way SLI.
The only cards that support 3-way SLI are the 8800GTX, 8800Ultra, and 9800GTX.
You can only run two 8800GS in dual SLI.
Frankly, you are wasting your money on the 3-way-SLI motherboard if you are not going to buy video cards that can take advantage of it, considering that 3-way SLI boards on average cost $100 more than dual-SLI boards. Ditto on the PSU– Doesn’t make sense to spend the extra money on a 3-way-SLI-capable PSU if you aren’t going to use that capability.
